From IP to analogue, indoor to outdoor, minidome to box cameras, and now megapixel models, Sony is able to offer its customers a choice of products to suit any application.

“Building on the success of Sony’s existing security portfolio, the additional models have been introduced to afford customers and specialist Sony dealers even greater choice to suit their individual needs,” said Simon Nash, Senior European Marketing Manager, NVM/CCTV. “These latest models have been designed to be accessible and scalable, and created specifically for security applications.”

Sony will launch the SNC-DM110P and its robust sister model the SNC-DM160P to introduce Megapixel resolution to Sony’s existing range of intelligent IP mini dome cameras. In addition to this, the SNC-CM120P is Sony’s first C-Mount security box camera with Megapixel resolution. All three provide high quality imaging and sensitivity whilst utilising Sony’s intelligent Distributed Enhanced Processing Architecture (DEPA) technology. Building on the success of Sony’s first intelligent network speed dome the SNC-RX550P launched in 2007, Sony will further boost the line up with the introduction of two Pan/Tilt/Zoom (PTZ) IP cameras.
